I use flowers because they know the way out of darkness. They grow from black earth, like memories rising from the depths of consciousness, like voices of those who are no longer here, like echoes of feelings that still live in our skin. They balance between the fleeting and the eternal, shadow and light, silence and color. They are the architecture of time—fragile structures holding within them the force of life.
In their quiet presence, flowers show respect for the way the world is. They do not argue with darkness, they are not afraid of black soil—they grow through it, embracing both light and shadow. They do not close themselves off, even if their bloom lasts only a moment. And so it is with a person—true strength is found in opening one’s heart, despite the pain.
