The work is devoted to PTSD, which in one sense or another is experienced by absolutely all Ukrainians. Mine manifested itself in the fact that I was crushed to pieces for the entire first year of the war, although I was safe, in such a beautiful France. So here I am in front of a broken mirror in a beautiful elegant frame.
Completely naked in a pure white space, because I lost everything I had and seemed to be born again.
And in my hand I have a beautiful broken plate, which I almost glued together. Only a few pieces remained. As you know in Japan there is such art of Kintsugi. This is about the fact that after the object is glued, it becomes even more expensive and stronger. In psychology, this is called PTSD, post-traumatic stress disorder. And this is what I am doing now – growing and recovering.
