Oleksandra Dementieva was born in 1988 in Kiev, Ukraine.
2010 – received a Master’s degree of Architecture from the Department of Architecture and Design of the Kyiv Aviation University.
2014 – started traveling a lot around the world.
2016 – after visiting many famous world art museums and Frida Kahlo’s house in Mexico she decided to devote her life to art.
2017 – birth of daughter Lukieria.
2018 – completed florist courses in Kyiv.
2020 – took a short course “artist” at the school of contemporary art in Kyiv.
2021 – actively participated in contemporary art exhibitions in Kyiv.
2022 – in connection with the start of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, she emigrated to France, the city of Avignon.
2023 – 2024 – Student at École Supérieure Art Avignon.
2024 – winner of the Afish Festival off Avignon competition.
She is a multidisciplinary artist who uses different types of contemporary art. In her works she raises important deep themes of our time. She pays a lot of attention to symbolism and the search for higher senses. Loves flowers, bright colors, sacredness and expression. She believes that art is very important in people’s lives and is capable of changing the world for the better through deep dialogue and interaction with society. Most of the works are autobiographical and based on the author’s personal experience.
